Serenity

McFlyer whispers ( the next one is only 800 ft from here)
We were gone, leaving Manny, Moe and Jack aka Li'l
Squaw and tHE cHISEL to guard the trail and nurse
their bellyaching. Poison Ivy leading the way, we made
quick work of it!

Embrace The Fog

Well the hill did not seem that high...
After a 10 minute climb accompanied
with a side order of whinning, we made it
only to find a wide open trail that led to
the cache. Found, signed and home it is.

Beaver Creek Falls

Took the steep way in for this one.Poison Ivy
up to her calves in the mud but kept on, no
complaining. She saw the cache but couldn't
get to it. McFlyer risking life and limb got to it
but sadly forgot his pen...a quick throw and it was
signed. |:{> GB

Beaver Overlook

Entered the park and made our second
find of the day. I had the hint and told no one,
made short work of the cache. Nice hide.

For Rockhounds Only

A great day for caching, sunny and 70 degrees.
After we made it to the parking coords, McFlyer
ran to the cache like he put it there! Round 1 McFlyer.
A full crew, with a bag of soft pretzels, we were ready.

MPI #400

Wanted to get this one done for a while.
Went solo on a Sunday afternoon, parked
in a business parking lot and there were
still some people at work there. Climbed into the
brush and made my way up to GZ.
Made the find and hightailed it home for dinner.

Middletown trails:Butter Days ahead 2

Another new one from McFlyer! Pondcomet
was able to come with me. A really nice walk
to the old railroad tracks and staying on the
trail and not Glarking it, we made the find.

Middletown Trails: Darlington Daze

With Pondcomet handling a deadline, I
took tHE cHISEL with me. Downloaded the
coords and drove to the parking coords.
Checked the GPSr and found it did not load.
I had exceded the limit of GPX files.
Went home, erased all and re-loaded.
No we were in business! This is McFlyer's
domain and wanted to be prepared.
Got to GZ but became overwhelmed with
the search. After 30 minutes tHE cHISEL
paf and got McFlyer to give us little clue...bingo
cHISEL found it. |:{> GB

OMG Spiderz!

Went out with McFlyer,Lil'l and El Bear-new to the
game. Apparently this property was owned by the
Furness family, old money. The land was turned
into a park years ago. Went in, got to GZ and just
to many possible hiding spots. At the base of the
old mansions foundation El Bear made the spot!

X-Men Marks The Spot: Colossus

McFlyer called to say he wanted to hit
this cache. Igor, a friend of Chisel's
wanted to tag along. Hope he knows
what he was in for. Lil'l made the trip also,
but could have done without the spiderwebs.
Coords led us right to the cache, with McFlyer
using his geo-sense to pinpoint the spot.
Igor was hooked, grinning ear to where his other
ear was... \:{> GB

Lost Again

I hope we weren't, We climbed a pretty
high incline and left the woods for
the industrial park, lonely on a Saturday
except for the Mexican landscape crew
who eyed us down. We made it to GZ
I climbed some rocks ,made the find
and Pondcomet spotted a snake, not
being a fan, I quickly got out of there.
|:{> GB (not actual snake:))

Adventurers Cache #1

A very pretty scene was GZ for this one.
A micro with a thousand different possible
locations. We searched and poked and
prodded to no avail. Then I stepped on it!
Out in the open and not covered. Duh!
|:{> GB

Woods 1

After Pipeline1 we went for this one.
Was not much of a hide-quart container
not covered. At least we were out of the
sticker bushes :)
|:{> GB

Pipeline 1

It was way too nice a day to sit in.
Made plans for 4 caches that were
local and we had not gotten yet.
Could not find the way into this
one, so we Glarked it. After the stickers
and nettles it was easy sailing to the
cache. The Chisel had some problems
with ragweed, sneezing all the way in.

Clayton Pipe Refit

We were not sure if the rain would hold
off long enough for a 4 part multi...
Well we decided to go for it. Got to the
first part and could find nothing-back
and forth I searched, Pondcomet yelled "got it"
well I could see some scratches that turned out to
be coord's. Added, then waited out some golfers...
She found the next and the next numbers.
Now walking thru knee high brush for me, I lost
Pondcomet. But I heard a muffled grunt as she spit
out some weeds, jk. We arrived at GZ and I made the find.
Signed and took a TB. TFTC |:{> GB

Phobia #10

It seems now that Tuba is hooked
on caching. He came down to visit me
again today and wanted to go out
for a find. I checked some spots we
have not gotten yet and we were off,
(he is a little more than me,lol)
Trails not to far from our house
had our prize. Taking the trail we were able
so find a micro pretty easy, because the
phobia was about bees.
Signed the log and headed home.

Tuba-" Your not gonna blog this, are you
oldman?"

East Goshen Park Multi

After Walk the Plank, McFlyer took us
here for a multi. It started off fun, a family
new to caching was trying to find the first
stage and did not know what they were
looking for. We showed them and wished them
luck. The markings on the stages were cleverly hidden.
Tuba has shown he is a master of the GPSr.
Finding coords left and right. McFlyer found the
cache at the end, but not before enGlarking
into some thorn bushes! Ouch
\:{> GB

Walk the Plank

This is an unknown cache-which means math,
and I usually stay away from these, esp. if
Pondcomet is not with me. But McFlyer assured
me it would be no problem. Well an hour later
and Tuba's shoes wet, Squaw snapping pictures
of me straddling stumps, and Glarking it a bit!
We abandoned cache-the dreaded DNF.
oh well...we will be back with calculators! lol

Watching the Commodore

After a well needed nap,I got the
news that The Chisel had gone
out for a walk with McFlyer,Squaw
and Lil'l. My suspicions were correct,
they were going caching without me!
I grabbed the colorado, downloaded
some coords and Pondcomet and we were off.
Headed to the one McFlyer hid that we
did not get yet. Going thru some
questionable areas of Chester we came to
GZ. While I Glarked for a while, Pondcomet
made the find! (Glarking-to ignore the path
and plow on blindly)

I ain't Lyon

Got the word on this one late, too
bad cause its right up the street from us!
Lil'l contacted The Chisel on the cache.
I made a split decision and decided we are
walking to it, and it was getting dark also.
We trudged the mile and a half and made short
work of McFlyer's handi-work.
Logged the cache and retraced our steps
home...|:{> GB

Scout's Stash Redux

I could not take the failure anymore!
Pondcomet was not going, The Chisel
had gnat fever and Poison Ivy? don't
know where she was. I am on my own,
my first solo attempt. I got to GZ easy
enough, but then started to hear things,
all kinds of noises...getting dark and creepy
out now. Bypassed the bee's, made the find
and just about flew back to the transport.
Good to be home and another cache to log

Scout's Stash

We went for a new one on this day,
called Scout's Stash. Pondcomet and I
embarked on our own. The weather
warm and everything blooming was
going to make it tough for the find.
We crept up to GZ, and Pondcomet
wanted the directionometer. She
walked a few paces, then started to
dance and yell! Fearing a seizure I
backed away, but she had stepped
into a bee's nest. to much pain to continue

Last cache of the day and after game night
last night, we were beat. Not sure what
we were looking for, we aimlessly Glarked it,
if you will. Poison Ivy finally made the find.

Pen Is Buried

Just when you think things are going good,
gnats get in the way. The Chisel who had been
impervious to wind,rain,darkness etc...was
brought down by gnats. He made the find with us
but announced unexpectidly his retirement from
summer caching. Everyone caught by suprize
but we went for Pen is buried anyhoo.
The Chiel made the find from a distance. Poison Ivy
running to the container.

Old Kennett Old Timers

From the start I had a good feeling
about this one. The crew was back
together! We would not be stopped.
Made our way to this little cemetary
a week earlier and some creepy dude
was there at the same time. Coords
were right on and the search began.
Micro in a forest, not going to be easy I
thought. Then The Chisel said something to
me that clicked (like looking at a curtain)
Instaed of looking at the pine branches,
I looked down the limb. BINGO made the find.

It's OK to Wine

Third of the day-we followed a trail that led
to the winery. After Pondcomet was done drooling
about wine tasting back in the nineties, the search
was on. Muggles made their presence known
early at this location. I used all the stealth techniques
learned under McFlyer's tutledge...I was resigned to failure
when Pondcomet made the find! Good for you PC.
|:{> GB

Pennsbury By Request

The way was blocked by muggle traffic.
We avoided them and came to a grove of
menacing pointy bushes. Pondcomet was
not about to go into that dangerous den.
I made the jump and exited with the find.

Pennsbury 24

We were on our way home from a
hole in the wall supply store when
Pondcomet mentioned some finds
she was looking into. They were in
the village of Pennsbury. Knowing
that Penn is not buried there had me
suspicious. We set out for the spot
in the transport. Walking the path
to the coords was strange, grass was
cut to make it into a path. Finding the hide among
an ancient forest was very exciting.

What Was It?

Not sure if I wanted to know, Lil'l
On a quiet holiday weekend night
we scoped out for any muggles.
None to be found-after surrounding
the gnome headquarters we entered.
Searching all about-til I made the find.
Thanks for taking us here Lil'l.

The Big Six

Well, well McFlyer! While you were in

we were able to locate The Big 6-
groaning feebly we made the climb.

Specter of Collectables Past

Spent most of the day searching for a new
transport for Tuba! The location of this
find was mere meters from our home base.
Grabbing Pondcomet we made a dash for it.
Poison ivy all about and other debris fields
scattered about. I made the find and Pondcomet
was more than a little scared! She felt like
something bad had happened in the old house.
Fearing a Scooby-Doo ending we ran back
to the transport.    |:{>  GB

Trail Open

Trail open was not all that difficult a
find. On the way back from Billy Bob's
itty bitty..................... we came upon
Trail open. Lil'L bent over and made
the find! |:{>  GB

Hundred Dollar Bill Cash/Cache

We had to drive the transport into Delaware
and needed two transports because Slim Shady
was with us. Having alot of fluids was important
on this trip because McFlyer was taking us to
Hell and back, and none of us remotely looked
like Audie Murphy! We traversed some hard
terrian to get to this one. I made the find after some
probing. The day had just begun!
P.S. And all the money was gone...            |:{>  GB

Moos Ice Cream

Down the road a bit was this hide. Was
going to be trouble! Muggles galore on a
nice day. We entered the area and we
were immediately spotted by some worker
drones in a back alley. We tried to look
like we meant no harm. Pondcomet found
the first part of the find. Logged it into
the comm-link and followed the trail.
She made the second and final find in an
alley. Young muggle smoker stared me down.
We ran back to the transport none too soon.

Stones' Bad Joke

A little up the road from Middletown
Trails was this find. Was not too hard
to make the find, The Chisel taking it
again. I tried to watch for tumbling
muggles, but none came out.
Not a hide I would recommend, but
it was on my comm-link, so it had to be
done...  |:{>  GB

Concrete Blonde!

Well McFlyer, you knew you would not
shut out The Chisel forever. He made the find
in record time. No ticks today, just a few
chirps. I wanted that DNF off of our
record. And I did not want to climb that
hill anymore.  |:{>  GB

Eagle Scout

This one was unexpected. We went out
to look for a place for a hide and ended up
going for this find. Pondcomet accompanied me
there. Had to park the transport on a bad
stretch of road. Where the pink and the white
met was our target.  Not a bad hike and trail.
At a treacherous bridge is where Pondcomet
made the find! Attempt to Glark it back to the
transport was nullified!   |:{>  GB

Rails and Trails

McFlyer called to let me know that X-10
was sighted near Dutton Mill Road. Being
near those co-ords, we quickly hopped
aboard the transport and made our way there.
We were without The Chisel, he was with The
Stonehenge's. Doing this without him would
make me slightly more sane. Pondcomet led the way
and we arrived at the find area, but could not
come up with it right off. She spun in circles a few
times and pointed this way and that. Amazingly
she made the find! X-10 we wish thee well...

Hokey Pokey

Another hide from Squirt Gunn. It was in the
same park. We proceeded at a slow pace until
Lil'L, leaped ahead and challenged herself
to a race. McFlyer and Squaw each let out
a small sigh. But Lil'L made the find after
the race.         |:{>  GB

Coreykat's Goose

Could not wait to get out for some finds
today, found out that T-Gal was coming
and I thought my lunch was also coming up!
I was proven wrong this time though.
We moved to the parking coordinates and
waited for McFlyer and his team.
A few minutes in and we made the find.
Lil'L doing the honors.

Leave it to Beaver

you look at it. This was a find that involved
math, not my favorite. After finding the right
numbers, we ran into some fellow searchers.
H. Potter and his father Gargumal, both
on two wheels. They started telling us about
their travels and the hides they have made.
Muddy, confused and disheartened we left
and went on our way.

kinda H. potter looking. Made our find
and got out quickly.

Chester Creek Cache

Parking the transport is possibly the
most important part of any adventure.
Once McFlyer found the right spot, we
were on the move for the find. Lil'L
made another find with extraordinary
ease. She was the shining star on this day.
We trudged back, knowing there would be
another cache. Glark Blue-out.

Sleeeping at the Beech

Well, well, well...McFlyer and Explorer 10
more than a couple of flies in the ointment!
Were we up to their challenge? Not sure but we
were going to give it our all-and if that meant
sacrificing The Chisel, I was ready to do it!
We arrived at the location and were ready for
a downpour. But as it turned out the only wetness
coming our way was from Pondcomet's tears, who
watched one of her brood make his FTF!
The Chisel had become more than a tool.
He was now a cacher..................................

Saul Preserve End

Saul, of ye we know little, but ready to
find out! After trekking to Nature's Hollow
we knew this would be no piece of cake.
The Chisel started out ahead of us, said
he was going to keep the injun's away?
Now that we knew our scalps were safe
Pondcomet smiled, and "poof" made
another keen find! The day was hers...

Nature's Hollow

Well this outing started off like most of mine,
badly. Coordinates were off and so was I.
After contacting McFlyer to set us straight
we were off and running, well more like
limping along the treacherous root out-
cropping all over the land. Following my lead,
Pondcomet made the find. After a few curses
we were off again in search of....Saul?

1015/Entropy

Trolley ride to hell! Thats what T-Gal said.
I did not know what she was talking about.
Anywho, we travelled to long forgotten  railway.
After finding the secret numbers, we made our
way past a cow tunnel and scattered remains
of Benny Hill. The Chisel made the find-his smile
infecting us all. The young ones entered the tunnel
and quickly feeling uneasy, sprinted towards
the light.     |:{>   GB

Must be all the pressure I am under

Lil'L made a spectacular find under a huge
rock formation. On the way back we ran into

From Glen to Glen

Here we come X-10. McFlyer had told
us about him over many a campfire.
Legend has it he trained McFlyer in the
art of the cache! We approached this as
we would any other hide...not prepared.
Getting out ahead was The Chisel and
Pondcomet. I trailed to cover our tracks
from anybody following us. As we neared GZ
Pondcomet sprang ahead and made the find!
X-10, hhmmm.... overated? Maybe?

Sudoku Stash

From the start of this hide, I had many
problems with it. Number one was I had
no idea how to solve the puzzle. I turned
it over to Pondcomet. She scratched her
noggin and went right to work. She belched out
"I got it all going on here"as she solved it.
We arrived at ground zero twenty minutes
later. The Chisel made the find,  redeeming
himself. The incline was killer!!! Some muggles
fishing did not slow us. Another conquest down.
Now on to X-10   |:{>  GB
